There are varying levels of web hosting available on the marketplace that can range from beginner level through to enterprise solutions, from self managed in its entirety through to more almost completely managed hosting solutions. Don’t however think necessarily that when starting out that you’ll need to choose a managed plan and then move to a solution you can manage, it depends on how hands on or hands off you want to be, there are pros and cons for both.

Here we’ll break down some of the better web hosting options available to you when starting out.

The first one we’re going to look over is Namecheap web hosting.

We use this for our domain name registrations but they also offer a reliable and affordable hosting solution.

Namecheap Shared Hosting and EasyWP

Namecheap is one of those providers that you can grow with and are a great option for starting out and dipping your toes into the world of online business without committing too much financially at the same time. We understand that although nominal, there are expenses when starting out that you will need to have in place and hosting is one of those essential things that there can be no compromise on. So if you are on a budget, Namecheap is a good option to begin with. We have even managed to secure you a great deal with them where they are offering a whopping 50% off 2 years of Shared Hosting! when you sign up using our link here.

Namecheap offers a cPanel package style of web hosting which is quite typical in the shared hosting industry. You can find out more about what cPanel is by reviewing these two well crafted articles, one from WP Beginner and the other from hosting provider Hostinger which breaks down what is included inside a cPanel package.

Pros:

Affordable pricing: Easy WP is known for its affordable pricing, making it a good option for small businesses or individuals on a budget.

Fast and reliable hosting: Easy WP provides fast and reliable hosting, which is important for the smooth operation of a website.

Easy to use: Easy WP is easy to use, with a simple control panel and easy-to-follow instructions.

Good support: Easy WP has a team of support staff available to help with any issues or questions.

Cons:

Limited customization options: Easy WP does not offer as many customization options as some other managed hosting providers.

Limited storage and bandwidth: Easy WP has limited storage and bandwidth, which may not be suitable for larger websites or those with high traffic.

No phone support: Easy WP does not offer phone support, which may be inconvenient for some users.

Overall Score:

If you are looking for a higher tier of web hosting that offers a more managed solution there are two mainstream providers that we personally use on our own and on our client websites. These two providers are highly ranked and well respected within the managed WordPress industry.

WP Engine
